And now Sonar HS 4 XL is telling me that there's no output! I don't want to go back to WDM.as it worked in the past but also doesn't now. I know the Realtek audio sucks and that's why I use ASIO and my UCA202. But when I clicked the realtime output I heard nothing, as well the audio track showed no waveform. How do I get this darn thing to output again? However it could be the input? The audio meter shows that when I touch the + on my 1/4" cable it has connection and is inputting. I remember in the past this configuration worked.
In ASIO4ALL I selected the USB interface as my input and my Realtek as my output. I turned my stereo up and nothing but normal static from the stereo. However upon reinstalling the ASIO4ALL drivers for my Behringer UCA202 and plugging it in, and of course choosing ASIO as my driver, I can see that when a track is Armed to record, it works.
I got it back and upgraded the RAM to 3GB. Long story short I quickly learned that the netbook was incompatible with Sonar Home Studio 4 XL and of course could not install it due to no CD drive. I thought that switching my AMD Athlon dual core 5200+ with 2GB RAM was a good swap for an Acer Aspire One Netbook with my mother. I'm using a computer I was separated from for a long time.
